About Metal Prints
OK… let’s just get this out of the way… metal prints are NOT all the same.
There are plenty of online vendors where I could have metal prints made, but many of them are low quality junk. Some of them can have a corner bent one handed. And if they use cheap soft aluminum, you can sure bet the sublimation coating is substandard as well. In fact, there are some metal prints that are not even dye sublimation prints at all… they are inkjet prints on aluminum… the ink will scratch right off of something like that. Most of those are also made on automated machines that color correct the image to set standards. How does a machine know what color I want something to be ?
Anyway, I’m not wasting my time with that junk.
Now let me show you what I am offering.
High gloss, true ChromaLuxe Panels with their special “secret sauce” coating that makes all the magic happen.
Made in the USA (Louisville, Kentucky), from high quality recycled .045” aluminum and fully recycleable if damaged.
Waterproof… easily cleaned with a mixture of water & vinegar, most household cleaners, isopropyl alcohol, or your favorite glass cleaner.
Scratch resistant… these things are tough. I have an 8x10 that I’m torture testing now. It sits on a night table and I throw my car keys, watch, phone, and cups of hot coffee & tea on it every day. Several weeks now and not so much as a scratch.
Flame & heat resistant… I’ve also tried to burn it with a disposable lighter… not so much as a mark on it.
Fade resistant… at least 60 years if kept out of direct sunlight. That’s 3x better than silver halide photo papers.
In short… these are truly lifelong art pieces. They’ll still shine on long after I have faded.

How do you know you’re getting the real deal?
Just look at the back side.
Their logo is laser etched all over the place.
Secure hanging hardware.
All prints come with an aluminum shadow mount that floats the print 3/4” from the wall.
Adjustable hanging hardware and wire for use with picture hooks. (nails are not the way to go here).
All the hanging hardware is made in the USA too..
You never have to worry about these prints just coming apart or falling off the wall.
Signed & numbered.
All of my Washington prints are limited edition art pieces… only 50 prints will be made and then the image is retired.
Prints will have my signature and your print number baked right in and a Certificate Of Authenticity will be mailed seperately and will include the title of the photograph, your name, date of purchase, date the photo was taken, as well as the print number.
